If you forgot to do so and your lenses spent a few weeks in their case unattended, give them a double rinse and place them in fresh solution for at least a couple hours before wearing them.

Also, start wearing your lenses a few days before the party - a couple of hours the first day, 3-4 hours the second day, and so on.
